Road Trip
We made our first overnight stay with Hudson this weekend. Preston played in a tournament in Marietta. While things didn't go so great for the Bat Breakers, we still had a good time. At only 7 weeks old, I'm pretty sure Hudson knew we weren't at home. For the first few hours in the hotel, he could only look around and try to figure it all out. You can see he finally became familiar enough with his surroundings to relax a little.

Good for my heart.
Super Student
We'll have to try this again...
A bottle of Similac is just not cutting it for the chunky boy lately. It seems he's never quite satisfied. So, we decided to put a little bit of cereal in his bottle. Didn't phase him...still not satisfied. So, we decided to try the real thing a few nights ago. I think he was too exhausted to realize how much he could probably like it. I guess we'll try it again a little earlier in the day.

Even funnier in person...
For the first time ever, Preston has P.E. at school. They do lots of different activities to include basketball, hoola hoop, soccer, and his new favorite hobby...jumping rope! He's NEVER EVER showed an interest in this, but has become obsessed all of the sudden. Frustration was high the first few days he was trying to learn how to do it. But, it didn't take long for him to have it all figured out.
Maddie came over today and gave him a run for his money. As you can see from the pics, it was quite amusing!

Campbell Look-alike Meter
Well, I had to post this, and as I'm typing, Preston is saying, "Well, that's just the computer's thoughts...that doesn't mean it is really true"! Alan will die when he sees this. I came across the website MyHeritage.com on another blog that I like to look at. When I saw this, I just had to try it. I had to scan in an individual picture of each of us and wait anxiously as it gave me the results! I probably wouldn't have posted them if it had determined that Hudson did look more like Alan. =) I know it's just a corny computer generated result, but I couldn't help but get a kick out of it when the results popped up. Sorry Dad...we'll do it again when he gets a little bit older. But, you might just have you a green eyed, curly haired little boy running around in a few months!!! I love it!!

Well, duh....we already knew the answer to this, but Preston wanted to confirm it!

Another first..
We made our first trip to the ballfield tonight to watch Preston practice. Here is how excited Hudson was when we first arrived.
By the time we left, he had taken a little cat nap, been passed around, gotten ooh'd and ah'd over, learned how to catch a fly ball, started his dinner and still managed to look this cute....
