I'm back at my favorite place...

I've been in Peachtree City this week for a class. For a homebody like me, 3 nights away from home is a big deal. While I missed the luxuries of my own home and all the wonderful things about it, that didn't compare to being away from my family. For the record....I CAN'T STAND TO BE AWAY FROM MY FAMILY. They had Mimi to take care of them, but honestly, I really hope she didn't compare to me. I hope you know what I mean by that, Mimi! I just like being the person that takes care of them....making lunch, doing laundry, going to ball games, changing dirty diapers, getting spit up on, cooking dinner, loading the dishwasher...and everything in between.

I learned a lot about being a leader this week, but the truth is....

There is no facilitator, book or group exercise that

could teach me more about

ADAPTING TO CHANGE

than this little guy...

There is no facilitator, book or group exercise that

could teach me more about

BRINGING OUT THE BEST IN OTHERS

as him....

And, there is no facilitator, book or group exercise that
could teach me more about
BEING OPEN AND HONEST WITH OTHERS
as him...

I missed you boys and I'm glad to be home.

(Thanks Mimi!)

Hudson's On The Move!!!! The real fun begins...Watch the video to see him go.

Mom goes out of town for the week and Hudson decides to start crawling in the forward direction. He has been able to stay on his hands and knees for a while now but could not move forward. We have even seen him back up as he has tried to crawl. Yesterday, Mimi changed Hudson as we were getting ready for the ball game and he started to crawl. He didn't have any clothes on and was able to move pretty good. There is a lot of "him" to move and that might explain why it has taken so long for him to get it going. I hope that Mom can view this video before she gets to come home to see speedy live and in person.

PS: Mom comes home tomorrow night!

Preston and Hudson miss their Mom!

Michele left this morning and will be traveling for work all this week. That means that it will just be us boys at home until she returns. Preston has a ball game on Tuesday night that she will have to miss. I know that it will be tough for her to miss the ball game as it is always hard for me to miss ball games while I'm traveling. The boys and I already miss her. However, we will survive because Mimi decided to stay with us while Mom is gone to keep us straight...and fed. This will also give me the chance to see firsthand why Hudson likes to be held all the time now. (Mimi has been known to hold Hudson most of the time)

Have a good week Mom...We love and miss you!

Random {Take 3}

{Dad and Preston are hoping for another lefty!}

Preston and his Black History Month project...

{The phone rang in the middle of a diaper change
and this is what I found when I came back.
Too cute.}

{Did I really have the nerve to let him
wear something that says "little"?!}

{This is what happens when you combine
a 7 month old and whipped cream.}

{and an almost 11 year old big brother!}

{My two favorite boys in the whole "live" world.
That's what Preston used to say!}
{2nd game of the season...
Preston came so close to hitting
his first A-Ball home run.
Ask Aunt Amy and Uncle David...
it was headed straight for them!}

{Preston's biggest, little fan!!!!}

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
We're headed to another ballgame
at 6:30!

Opening Night....
the little man is already supporting his favorite team.

The 2009 Braves...
Mimi and Papa bought these windshirts for
everyone on the team. Thanks ya'll. We love them!

Opening Day...
It was absolutely miserable by the time the
game started....cold and rainy. The Braves didn't
win, but it's always fun to see Preston doing
what he loves the most.

We've got 17 more games...
ya'll come see us!
{Preston's next game is now Friday, 3/20 at 6:30 because of the rain today}
