I've been in Peachtree City this week for a class. For a homebody like me, 3 nights away from home is a big deal. While I missed the luxuries of my own home and all the wonderful things about it, that didn't compare to being away from my family. For the record....I CAN'T STAND TO BE AWAY FROM MY FAMILY. They had Mimi to take care of them, but honestly, I really hope she didn't compare to me. I hope you know what I mean by that, Mimi! I just like being the person that takes care of them....making lunch, doing laundry, going to ball games, changing dirty diapers, getting spit up on, cooking dinner, loading the dishwasher...and everything in between.
I learned a lot about being a leader this week, but the truth is....
There is no facilitator, book or group exercise that
could teach me more about
ADAPTING TO CHANGE
than this little guy...
There is no facilitator, book or group exercise that
could teach me more about
BRINGING OUT THE BEST IN OTHERS
as him....
And, there is no facilitator, book or group exercise that
could teach me more about
BEING OPEN AND HONEST WITH OTHERS
as him...
I missed you boys and I'm glad to be home.
(Thanks Mimi!)
